Apartments Needed

Hi. I am moving to California on an assignment. The task would take around 6 months to complete. I need to find an apartment for myself. Anybody has any idea how to look for an apartment there.

1. apartments.com & rent.com

2. try doing a google search for a local paper in the city you are moving to & check local classifieds

3.contact the local chamber of commerce for information on reputable apt complexes; real estate agents & rental agents

If you don't mind me asking, which area are you moving to? I live in Cali, so I might be able to help you out a bit more if I knew what county you were going to be in.
