Apartment question

So every single video I've watched the walls are bare. Is there a rule or something that says you can't decorate your room? Or is every video I've seen just have people who don't like posters?
I just really like posters and stuff... haha

They do provide 1 corkboard for each person in a room, you might be able to pin smaller posters to the bottom of it or something. I had a mini calendar, some personal pictures, some trading pins, and some images I liked that I printed off of tumblr that I had on my board.

 

[Musings]

You have an entire bulletin board to decorate in your room. You can decorate things on your bedstand and your common areas. Just can't hang things.
