What I posted is what they had on the website. I did not read the fine print if there were black out dates.

Here is the fine print.........

Woo hoo! I just booked Paradise Pier, theme park view for May. Thanks for the info!

I was so excited because I have 4 nights booked May 28-31 on the AP rate that I booked in December for $234 a night. When I called the ressies, they said I could book the first two night for $179 and the second 2 for $300. They told me just to stick with my old ressie because it was a better deal. They won't let me have the first two at the new rate and the last two at the old rate. What a bummer! I'm not sure why the AP6 rate is so high the last 2 days when I got the AP rate at $234. Anyone know? And why can't I have two ressies? Sigh. I never seem to be able to ever get any discounts. Something always goes awry even when I am travelling on the dates of the great deals.

Anyone else encounter this?

Could you try calling back and making a reservation just for the two nights at the new rate, and then call back again and ask them if the rate changes if you modify your existing reservation by dropping those two nights? And then see if you can link the two together so you don't have to change rooms?

I suggested that to the c.m. and he said that you couldn't modify existing reservations. If I cancelled two of my days, I would have to cancel the entire reservation, and the current AP rate for the last two days is now $300 instead of $234.

I'm not sure why they are so inflexible. WDW isn't. I've modified every reservation I've had there with no penalty.

Anyone else ever have this problem?

Call back and talk to another CM. You absolutely can modify existing reservations, if you get the right CM. ;) You will find that you will get a different answer each time you talk to a customer rep CM. While it bugs me, I just know I need to call back and I usually find someone who can help me with my request.

wow cool i hope ap 7 or 8 will be in oct lol if not we will be fine saving money staying at desert inn next store to friend mine

oh I am sad. THE GCH is completly booked for april 20 - 23rd. dang!!!!! I have the DLH and the PP available. I will not stay at PP again, that was not very positive at xmas time. but the DLH may be good. ok everyone I got a Smokin Rate at the HoJo's for that time for around $120 a night a top floor park view etc etc.
would you cancel the hojo for the DLH for 50 more a night?
Lori

I called the hojo just to double check and I wanted to make sure the rate - shoot I got it for $111.20 for a premium park view room! so I am not going to switch for $60 more. this is just a trip for me and my 2 oldest so this will be perfect and the extra $60 I am saving will be spent on character meals and popcorn! Love the DL popcorn!
