AP vs. PH - Need Help, Please!

While planning for our upcoming WDW vaca., DH (shockingly) suggested that for a little more, we could get the AP's instead of the PH's and said it would give us incentive to go at least 1 more time to WDW before the AP's expire.

However, we were wondering if there are any benefits w/the AP's? Are there advantages to doing AP's over PH's?

Please help -- we'd appreciate any answers/info. you could give us!

Having an AP will entitle you to some dining discounts, discounts on admissions to the wter parks, Disney Quest and miniature golf. You also get free parking at the parks even if you're not staying onsite. There's also the possibility of APH room discounts and a number of other perks.

Having an AP will make you more likely to enter a park for just a few hours if you're so inclined, because you're not "wasting" a park day like you would by using a PH or PHP.

And, of course, having an AP is a big incentive to make a second trip within a year.

These are the only "real" reasons why we get APs (most of the time). When we get PHs I get so frustrated with the worry over "wasting" a day on the ticket. We like to go into the parks for short periods of time each day and sometimes go offsite for other brief adventures.

My vote: Go for the APs!!!!
