AP vs 14 Day ticket

We are going to US in May 2015 for 7 days and plan to stay at the Portofino. What are the benefits of buying an AP vs. the 14-day consecutive ticket? Are there special perks for each? Any info you can share would be appreciated. Thanks

I can't speak to the 14 day ticket, but I bought my AP with the thought I might possibly go back at some point during the year.

I have made 4 trips so far and just booked 2 more, and thinking of a possible 3rd before it's up mid-January.

Check your rate against the AP rate, now since I am guessing you are doing SMSM with a pretty long stay (lucky) your rate might be better. Otherwise you get discounts on food and merch and then sometimes there are other perks throughout the park that I always forget to use

You can get all the AP benefits/discounts with just one of you with the AP and the rest with the 14 day. I don't know the price differential though.

I'd asked the same question on the Dibb earlier today.

The price difference at the moment with the current exchange rate is approx £69.

I'm planning on getting 1 AP and 3 14 day passes as i figure that i should be able to easily save the £69 difference with the AP perks

You might also want to consider 1 Annual Pass and 3 Power passes if you think there might be an possibility of returning for another visit.

The 14-day 3-park ticket included free access to the City Walk clubs that charge a cover charge but the AP does not except for certain times. A perk?
