I ordered PAP's directly from Disney. What arrived in the mail are vouchers, right? (They are green cardboard with info typed on the back.) They will need to be exchanged at Guest Services? Most importantly, our days start when we exchange them, NOT when I bought them? (I'm just double checking, because they were expensive...and I want to make sure I understood...)

The days start when you make the exchange, not the day you bought the vouchers. I know at Ft. W, you can't exchange them at check it. You had to go to guest services at one of the parks to exchange them.

I was never asked for either my AP voucher or activated annual Pass on check in or later at FW this past week - this may have been because we were chedcked in by a trainee CM who may just not have thought to verify, so I wouldn't count on it happening again, but as it turned out I could have not ever activated the AP and would still have been billed the AP discount rate. My innate honesty (read: fear of getting caught doing something I shouldn't) prevented me from trying to take advantage of this, however. :smooth:

I don't think any of the resorts can activate them. It has to be at a park. I have heard of activating them at downtown disney, but I don't know the details.

I have checked in with an AP rate and vouchers before. I was not asked to show the voucher or pass. I would think (may have read?) that they would let you check in and show the activated passes later.

Have a great trip!
