AP Voucher and MDE

We have AP vouchers for our trip in October. It is actually just a will call number. Has anyone had these added to your MDE account? Is this possible? I am hoping FP+ will be rolled out by then but I am not sure how it would work with the vouchers.

I'm curious about this too. We bought 3 of the discounted PAPs in the deal offered last year, and was given one will call number. We will be going end of August to activate for the first time.

when you log into your MDE account and go in the add tickets area there are options to choose, one is if you have a will call number. You can link them there

I recently added our DVC PAPs to our MDE account. All I have is a will call / order number.

Process was actually quite easy - I did the same thing Happy99 posted above (Used the number beginning with CARN).

Not sure what good it did, though, LOL. We're not going until after Thanksgiving. :)

Thanks. I will give it a try. I have a feeling we might not get much notice if they do go live so I want to be prepared.

I added my DVC PAP will call # to MDE yesterday. I did it online, not on my phone. I tried linking my room reservation on my phone, wouldn't work, so I tried online and it worked, then I added my PAP. My PAP will call # started with DEBT.

I linked our vouchers too - I'm just worried that we won't get to partake in customizing our bands for our xmas trip bc they are vouchers and not an activated pass... also, I'm a bit worried that my parents will get to choose their FP+ times 60 days out and we will be left in the dust... any updated info on all this?:confused3

Those that have been successful linking a voucher, did you purchase them online or over the phone.

I was told there was a difference. :confused3

I got mine online and I was going to link and got to the last page, but decided to wait. When it said "once you link you can't unlink" I decided to wait a little while until I got closer to my October trip.

We picked up our new RIFD annual passes in May. When we tried to link them to the MDE it pops up and says that the new RIFD annual passes cannot be linked at this time. Not sure what is going on but really a pain.

I did it too. We had the will call number starting with DH's initials followed by a number. I entered the number on my MDE account and it accepted. But then I got nervous when it showed both PAPs assigned to me. But then it allowed me to reassign one PAP to my DH. I was a little nervous for awhile. He was sent an email confirming that he has a PAP on MDE.

Edit: Found the PAPs listed on both DH's and my DME accounts under My Reservations which also shows Tickets and Passes.

BTW, I was getting a popup the last few days since my AP expired that had this information in it:

I went back into MDE just now and I no longer am getting this pop up. I wonder if it was because I added the PAP voucher to my MDE account?

I linked our DVC PAP passes using the will call numbers and am still getting the pop up. I think the MDE software (and FP+) is still very much a work in progress.

If we buy UT tix, do we just type in the ticket numbers to MDE?

If I have passes from prior visits that are partially used (non ex tix), can I input those too?

Dumb questions, sorry.

Oh and one more (maybe CF will come along).... what happens to your FP+ ressies if you upgrade your park tix in the middle of your trip and your tix number changes?

:confused3:confused3Ugh, just tried to link my Green PAP to my MDE account and it doesn't recorgnize the number. on my profile it shows I have an AP, I just can't link it to get FP if the opportunity comes up on my next trip (62 days away). I will try to link my DH's voucher to his account and see if that works. Has anyone else been able to link their new Green PAP passes to their MDE account or has the success only been older APs and vouchers...

I have entered our will call PAP's on MDE without any problems. If you purchased more than one, you will need to assign the additional PAP's to the other members of your party. We also added our ADR's, tickets for MNSSHP and our reservations for the Italian luncheon and the Cheese seminar during F&W. The only thing we could not add is the Wild Africa Trek in AK. I spoke with a CM during an online chat and you cannot add tour reservations to MDE at this time.

I was having issues with this as well...it didn't want to take our numbers at first. Finally I got it to take mine, but gave no description of it. (I gave up on putting in everyone else's number.) Eventually it then said AP and the expiration date. I put it in about a month ago. I logged in this week and it now says DVC Premium AP Promo. Not sure why it's all good now...but happy to see that it actually is the pass we bought!

Thanks for the update. I'll give it another try.

Does anyone know if your previous AP has to expire before registering a will call number? We have PAP that will expire in October. Our next visit is in November and we plan to pick up new PAPs with a will call number. Can I register that will call now since we still have active passes. I would like to be able to get magic bands on our trip if possible.

If your reservation is eligible for MyMagic+, you can still get MagicBands even if you don't have theme park admission linked to your MDE account. What you can't do is make FastPass+ selections without valid theme park admission linked to your MDE account.
