AP Upgrades?

I currently have a So. Cal annual pass with parking. I don't remember how much I paid for it in April. Now it costs $233 (w/ parking). If I wanted to upgrade my AP to deluxe, would I have to pay the difference between the current So. Cal AP price and Deluxe AP price?

Or the difference between the So. Cal AP price I bought it at and the current Deluxe AP price?

Thanks! Hope it's not too confusing.

I'm feeling sad that no one knows the answer!

So I'm going to give you what I assume. When we got our Deluxe APs last year, the prices changed the next day. I assumed all year that I would have to go from the price I paid to the current price, which meant $20 more than what I would have paid for the Premium if I'd just bought that instead of the Deluxe.

Since DLR and WDW are so different with the way you upgrade, I would think it stands. At WDW you have only 14 days to upgrade EVER (no going from one AP to the next if you get a whim), but when you do/can upgrade if you've used your admission, it's "set" to the current level, and you get a deal with upgrading.

Since with DLR you can upgrade that AP 3 times, if you start at the lowest level, at any time during the year, I'm going to guess that it's the opposite, and that you'll pay the full difference.

That's just what I assume, and it's not based on experience.

Hopefully this theory will bump your question up so that someone who knows can answer you!

I'm sad no one else knows either. But thank you for your assumption. Hopefully someone else has had the experience before.
