AP Upgrade

I have read that you can upgrade unused (or partially used) Park Hopper passes to annual passes. Can anyone tell me how that works? Can you do it at the Disney Store or must it be taken care of at the park? Also, how do you know how much credit you will get for the unused days on the park hopper?

Thanks for the link. It looks to me like you can only upgrade within seven days of using your park hopper. Does anyone know if I am interpreting this correctly?

Not exactly. That's only if you want to apply the entire price you paid for the ticket to the AP.

If it's after the seven day window, you get a prorated credit based on the number of unused park admissions remaining on the old tickets.
