AP upgrade cost question

So recently, I renewed my AP and downgraded to the Seasonal Pass at the same time. I paid the renewal rate of $297 in full and currently have the certificate ready to activate in less than a few weeks. Less than a week later, the new APs were born.

If I decided to upgrade my Seasonal (soon to be Silver when I activate them) to Gold, will I pay for the upgrade based on the renewal rate or the full price rate?

Historically, and traditionally, you would be able to upgrade at the renewal rate for the level of AP to which
you would be changing.

All you can do is explain, and ask... nicely.
