HI
HELP!!!!
JUST NEEDED TO KNOW WHICH TICKET TO BUY?
:earboy2: (VERY DIZZY RIGHT NOW)
I WILL BE GOING TO DISNEY ON JAN 21-29 2005 WITH HUSBAND AND DAUGHT
THEN AGAIN IN DEC 2005 WITH DAUGHT AND MYSELF FOR 6 DAYS. HUBBY STAYING HOME. I NEED TO BUY AN AP TICKET BECAUSE OF HOTEL DISCOUNT.SO IF I BUY TWO 10 DAYS MYWT TICKETS WITH (NO EXPIRATION) AND (PARK HOPPER). CAN MY DAUGHT USE THE LEFT OVER DAYS ON THE NEXT TRIP WE TAKE.I WOULD HAVE 6 DAYS LEFT BUT THE ??? IS CAN SHE USE MY HUSBANDS TICKET WITH HIS EXTRA DAYS THAT ARE LEFT. ALSO DOES ANYONE KNOW IF AP PRICES ARE GOING TO COST MORE $$$ AFTER JAN 2,2005.

We are in the same place, we are going in Jan from 20th - 29th We are talking about going again for MNSSHP. I need to buy at least AP for the room discount.

I was told on a previous post that AP were going up by $60 in 2005 and that they are going to use bioscans for all park media now not just the AP's to prevent passing the unused ticket to others. If this is the case then your DD will not be able to use DH's "leftover" days

Not sure how true this is but it is what info I have

Hope this helps enjoy your trip

Dave

Tickets have always been non-tranferrable. The new tickets will help to better enforce that decades-old guideline. If you are planning to visit more than seven days your best bet is an annual pass. If you are planning to visit fewer than seven days your best bet is to buy only what you need for each visit. The main point of the new MYW tickets is to make it possible for a guest to purchase only what they want, need, and are going to use.

We are in the same boat! What is the price for a PAP (since we need the PI, AP and DQ options as well)? When would the AP price likely increase?

Everything depends on how you choose to use your tickets. I am not attempting to compare apples to apples when I do my figuring. I go by how we use our tickets. In our situation, I don't care if it costs more to park hop because we never do anyway. We also stay offsite, so I can't take advantage of possible AP rates. We had APs this year, but next year we will purchase the 10 day MYW ticket with the no expiration option for our two trips in 2005. Because we don't hop, this comes to a $70 per ticket cheaper for us. We then decided for $35 extra per ticket, with the advance purchase price, we'd get the Plus option also since we were going to hit a water park during our June trip before these new tickets came out. If it costs about $33 for a day in the water park that we were going to pay above and beyond our APs anyway, I'd be a fool not to buy that option. For $2 more than a ticket to a water park, I'll get 5 plus options :cool1: ! I still come out cheaper than the APs I was going to buy and, in our situation, we get more.

Your results may vary ;) .

Everybody has to do their own math on these tickets to find what your best deal is by the way you use your tickets :magnify: :teacher: .

I think a $60 price increase is a bit much. This past year, they went up $10. While I can see them going up, I CAN'T see them going up by $60!

Just my thoughts. No validity or veracity to them at all. :)

ANYBODY KNOW WENT THE PRICE FOR AP GOES UP 60.00. :earseek: ( WOW ) :earseek: THATS ALOT OF MONEY I SHOULD BUY IT KNOW WAITING FOR MY HUBBY BOUNS

Yes, I would like to know as well-Is it Jan 1? What have
they done in the past?
