AP ticket

I booked a room at RPH with the AP discount for March 2012. It will just be myself and my 13yr old daughter. I plan to purchase the pass (Preferred Pass) online closer to my arrival date. I have a few questions regarding tickets...

1) Will the price for the 2012 AP go up?

2) Do I have to pick up the AP at the park entrance and then go check in at the hotel?

3) With the AP, there is a 15% discount for park tickets and you have to purchase it at the gate. The UO website only lists prices for online purchases. What is the actual price at the gate? If I plan to purchase a 3Day Park-to-Park ticket for my daughter, would it be cheaper to purchase it through the UO website or Undercovertourist?

1) No one knows what the prices will do but I would say there's a good chance of another ticket increase next year at some point.

2) You can pick up the pass and show it at the hotel but you don't have to have it at check in. Just make sure you show it during your stay.

3) The gate prices are about $20.00 more than what's online so add $20.00 and then take off 15% to get the AP discount. Oh...and don't forget to add tax. UT might be a little cheaper but you'll have to do the math.

Another question... park tickets can be purchased and used any time you like (even after years...) right? Does it work the same for the AP? I can purchase the AP this month with the current price and activate it next March (2012) and still be valid?

Yes...the AP is valid only after it's activated...not when it's purchased.
