Last year we got the reg AP but this year we got the Weekday Select AP and when we got our new park tickets I noticed the color on the front was blue (with a character of course) whereas last year's tickets were different colors. Was this color change due to the difference in APs we got or is it an annual change they do?

They may just have gotten a shipment of new blank ticket stock.

All the tickets I've seen (regular and AP) are now pale blue with a character on them. I like the pale blue less than any AP I remember. That pale blue is just not all that cheery, is it? At least I got Mickey.

They change the tickets from time to time.

We got ours in May and they are the pale blue ones.

Last month when I got my new Annual Pass it had the pale blue backround with Pluto as the character that was on it.

Huh... we've had APs for about 4 years and I thought our tickets were different colors. Maybe I am mistaken, and its only the characters that are different?? I didn't think APs were only one color????

We got our AP's last november..they look like any other ticket did then. Mine is Goffy and Becky has Donald.
My friend got new tickets for our trip in August and hers (not AP) was the pale blue with a character on it.

They're the same as the other tickets, which are now pale blue with a character on them.

The last ones were the "celebrate" ones, which were brightly colored and had a character on them.

I don't remember before that. Was that the one with the tree in the little circle in the center on it? Something about conservation. I don't know how long ago that was.

We just got our new AP's on Sunday 9/4/11 and they are the blue background with a character on them.

Just looked at my AP... renewed in February of this year... it is red with Donald Duck on it. So I guess the new ones are all blue with different characters.

When I forgot my AP my last trip in DEC I went to the MK window to get a new one. I was kind of disappointed as it was printed on a Tables of Wonderland card :confused3

I want to "lose/forget" mine again so I can get a character one but that just kind of feels dishonest. I should have my BF hold/keep up with it on this trip as he is forever losing things, lol!

And if you bought them at one of the water parks you might have gotten Goofy on a surfboard, which we stock from time to time.

oooh tempting, we are heading to the WP this year for the first time and upgrading to Premuim AP's I might just wait till we get there to do it for a shot at a different one. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah, the pale blue is the Let the Memories Begin theme. We got YES tickets in June and those were printed on that same stock. Last year's AP were the multi-colored ones.

Funny, my TIW card in December was printed on regular ticket stock!

Definitely sounds like all new monochromatic ticket stock.

how many different ones are their? we have four in our family and is there a chance we can get different ones?

As a general rule the ticket packages hold 1,500 tickets and use a five-design pattern, so if you are getting five or fewer tickets in one transaction each will have a different back. Sometimes at the water parks we will get packs with only the Surfing Goofy design.

Not only are they all with a blue background this year, but they are also printed with "Let the Memories Begin". Last year's AP tickets were different colored backgrounds with a character (each character had a different colored ticket) and said "Celebrate Everday".

What is really unusual, is that hubby and I have gotten the same two characters each year (Goofy and Donald) although it seems like we switch our character each year (hubby gets Donald, I get Goofy - the next year, I get Donald and he gets Goofy, etc.)

Last month when I got my new Annual Pass it had the pale blue backround with Pluto as the character that was on it.

My son just got his 1st AP and he had Pluto too.

I think I got Mickey. My DW and DD have the old designs from last year.

They made me sign our names though, which I think is silly, especially for a 3yo.
