Can someone please explain the 20% restaurant discount to me? At one time I thought I read that the annual pass (I would get the Premium Pass) enabled a 20% discount at certain restaurants.

Now I see that a Tables in Wonderland card can be purchased by AP holders to get a 20% discount.

Did I blend the two programs together in my thinking??!!

Does TIW apply to Disneyland restaurants or just WDW?

Thanks for your help!!

SoCal and Deluxe AP holders get a 10% discount on food. Premium and Premiere AP holders get 15% off. I've never heard of Tables in Wonderland, but hopefully someone else knows the answer to that part.

The Tables in Wonderland Card is a special offer offered by the Walt Disney World Resort to Florida Residents and Annual Pass Holders.

At this time, it is not accepted for a discount at any location at the Disneyland Resort in California.

The only reason I've heard of Tables in Wonderland is because I listen to The DIS podcast about WDW and they talk about it there. If they offered it at DLR, I would have heard about it.

It is not cheap the TIW card, $75 for AP holders at WDW & Premiere. $100 for Florida residents. The only thing I don't like about the TIW card is that you won't be able to get discounts at the counter service. But it does give you 20% discount on the sit down restaurants at the resort. That's why I like DL AP because of the discounts at both counter and sit downs. Buying the TIW card is only good if you are eating a lot of times at the sit down restaurants at WDW.

It would be wrong if DL does the TIW at DL.

But now too, AP holders at WDW can do the other dining packages and don't have to do TIW. We are doing the dining package on our trip in October.

At Disneyland they have coupon books, and these are not a good value at all. It is better to just pay when you buy the food, and remember that you can get a discount with a AAA card if you don't have an AP to get a discount with.

You are right about that but the WDW/Premiere AP doesn't have much of a selection on food discounts than the DL AP or the TIW card. But the WDW AP doesn't get counter service discounts and most of the AP discounts for table service at WDW are mostly breakfast and lunch at the resort.

Thats why I like the AP at DL because of those different choices.
