Was there an offer for a (further) discounted AP? I seem to recall there being a cheaper price at some point last year than the normal DVC AP price?

If not, does anyone know if they are rumored to do a special offer anytime soon?

We are going for our Honeymoon in June and July and I'm trying to decide if I should buy the tix now or wait.

Thanks.

The last 2 AP offers were Fall 2012 and Spring 2014. They had the 4 days for $199 last fall. I haven't heard any new rumors but since tickets increased in February, there is no rush to buy them for June. I would wait.

I am sure everyone else along with myself would love another PAP offer like the last one!

Of course if you plan to go in June, you need to have a ticket linked to your account 60 days before your arrive if you plan to make FP+ reservations. We gave up the wait for a promotion for our late April trip because we had to link a ticket to our accounts in February in order to get those FP+ selections.

You don't have to use the ticket you link, however. We decided to get an AP for an upcoming trip so we could get the FP+ at 60 days, but if a good offer comes up we'll probably get it and save the AP we already purchased for another year.

This is no longer an option for most, but as we have 10 day non expiring tickets with days left, we can make FP prior to buying the tickets we'll actually be using.

Everyone must have missed Disney's "special" deal for DVC members on AP's this year in February -- it raised their price by close to 10%, about tripple the percentage increase of any other tickets.

We are going the 1st week of May and our PAPs expire June 1. Our next scheduled trip is for the middle of September. Trying to decide if we should renew at the regular AP DVC renewal rate or wait until September to either buy new APs with DVC discount or if they come out with another PAP deal.

I hate that if we renew in June we will lose those 3 months BUT the renewal price will save us $160 for 2 APs.

Decisions, decisions....Hoping for the PAP deal though. :teeth:

Disney cut the resident/dvc discount on the annual pass by $25, while also raising the price in line with normal annual adjustments.
