Hi, I just called to modify my March 23, 2006 ressie at PBH and asked about AP rates. I was paying $439 for a deluxe concierge room, but they gave me $395 rate and said it was an AP rate.
The woman on the phone was actually surprised there was any discount since she said March is peak season. It doesn't sound like much of a discount, but it is something.
I am new to Universal - this is our first stay, but planned to buy the AP for all the other discounts as well. Does this little 10% discount sound right?? Will there be more of a discount closer to the date?? Usually Disney deluxes are about $70 - 80 a night off with the AP rate.
Thanks for the info, I decided not to purchase a AP, I am just going to keep my AAA membership since I am not sure if we will be back to Universal in 2007. At this time we have a cruise booked so going to Universal might not be an option.
