AP resort discount for multiple rooms but different arrival day?

So we are going in March to the world and my husband's cousin and family are going also. I know I can book more than one room with my discount, but am I able to do this if they are arriving a day after us and staying longer than us? We are only doing 4 nights and they are staying for the week. I wasn't sure if we all had to stay for the same length and time. We will be staying at the same resort.
