Was watching the news while eating dinner and NBC was reporting that they were to "stand by" for a special briefing. But it hadn't happened by about 7 and DD wanted to watch something else so I headed for the computer. No tv in here!

They're probably still waiting to contact family...

I am so happy for that family. It is probably one of the best days of their lives.

It makes me cry tears of happiness for them. Plus it gives the other families of the other POWS hope.

Fox is reporting that it's Jessica Lynch, from the mechanized unit that was ambushed!
