AP Renewal Question

In March we are up for renewal. After seeing the long lines at the AP center recently I was wondering if you can renew online. And if you do renew online, do they just send you an updated card?

They will send you an email or two letting you know when you can renew, and YES you can renew online. If you do, you can choose a card from some options they'll give (like tinkerbell might be on the front of one card option, the Incredibles might be another choice, etc...not just the castle image from '07 and '08 APs) and it will be sent to you. Don't plan a trip for really close to renewal if you're doing it online, b/c I hear it's a pain if you go before you get the new AP in the mail...not impossible, just some extra steps.

I bought a new AP that upgraded to Premium from a So Cal Select. THe CM kept my original AP renewal date of Aug 26th, 2008 even though I go the AP on July 17th, 2007. So my AP was good for a 13 month period! So she was very cool. then my friends DS 10 pass had broken in 1/2 and wanted to charge us $20 to get a new one. I just nicely handed the Cm the pass and asked if she could replace it. She did no charge...
