AP Renew and upgrade ??

Our AP Preferred passes are up for renew soon.
And I'm thinking about upgrading to a Permier pass.
Should we renew at Preferred price, then when we go in September upgrade to Permier pass.
Does Universal Bridge tickets like Disney does??
Would I'd save any $$ doing this?

I would go with the AP you want instead of waiting until you are there.
I’m all for simplicity.

My only problem is my AP's expired(their were extended from May because of COVID19)have only until Aug 10 to renew. My trip is in September.

Is their any discount for renewing? They are giving 3 months free when you buy a new one so it might not be worth renewing if you loose a month between the 10th and your trip

They give a 20% discount for renewing and they are including 15 months for all renewals. You can call them on the phone and they can change the type of pass you want to renew it to. You will get the renewal price even if you change the type of pass you are getting. You have to call to renew your pass within 30 days of the expiration date.
