Okay, I'm new here....just found this board today and I'm completely lost! What are AP rates and all these special discount codes everybody is talking about? Help!

is annual pass there are discounts that apply to anyone, annual pass holders, Florida residents, AAA members, etc.
a great resource for codes is www.mousesavers.com check that site to see if one applies to you. Also there are codes publlished in the travel section of many big newspapers they publish them there as well.

...popping in the add the "disclaimer" that resort discounts are not a guaranteed benefit of buying an Annual Pass. WDW usually offers them throughout most of the year, but you can't assume that Disney will offer them for a given period in the future. If you buy an AP, do it because you'll be using it for 8 days or more of park admission over the course of 12 months. They can be BIG money savers. We were there for 14 day in June and we're going back for Christmas. Treat the other benefits conditionally given to AP holders as just the "icing".
