AP rates?

We're considering an AP this year because of the great rates out right now. My question, though is do you know how often those kinds of rates come out? We could get the rates for this Dec, but is it likely there will be another set of AP rates in Jan of 2008? (we're not sure which od those times we'll be able to go-the rates may make the difference!)

That's just it: you can't absolutely count on them offering them at any particular time. From my experience, the fall and January/February have been times that the "AP Nights" rates have come out...but again, no guarantee that it will go that way exactly in the future.

You don't need to have the AP to get the rate at the time of making the reservation, just upon check-in. You can always book your room with the AP Nights rate and cancel within the time frame allowed (I think it's 48 or 72 hours) if your plans change. That way you've got you room rate locked in if you end up going to DL.

You can buy an AP online at the DL website, at any Disneystore or at the Hotel when you arrive.

No, you have to call. I wish we could do it online, too.

They did have AP rates towards the end of January to mid Feb. if I recall correctly in 2007.

I *think* that special offers show up on the AP website. (I have not activated my AP yet) However, if you do not have an AP, you just have to keep a close eye on these boards. The wonderful AP's on the DIS will make sure to let us all know!
