I got the Poly 10/13-10/23 for $204 plus tax for GV. I was able to get the AP rate for all 9 nights. I called on the first day within 30 minutes of CRO opening.

I was able to get ASMu Nov 6-8 for 54.88 a night including tax and the AKL deluxe room water view Nov. 8-11 for 221.89 a night including tax!

Split stay for us:
Dec 6-8 AKL savannah for $154 (pre-tax) 171.71 with tax.
Dec 9-13 WL woods for $150 (pre-tax) 167.25 with tax (which for some reason is $25/night higher than other people's rate for same time frame for some reason- don't know if CM made a mistake or not- but not complaining anway. I'm still thrilled with the rate)

Try to make a NEW reservation. I couldn't get our current reservation converted, but Stella was able to make a new reservation for us at the AP rate with a NEW confirmation number.

Our dates are 12/19 - 12/22. DH wanted to do the Sunrise Safari again, and although I got the 15% DC/AAA discount- it was still a bit high for him. I'd been hoping for the AP rates, and although we had a slight problem getting the rate..... we persevered and were successful!! We've also been confirmed for the Sunrise Safari on the 20th, which is what this was all about.

I just cancelled Coronado Springs AAA room and got a woods view at Wilderness Lodge for Oct 26 - Oct 31 at a rate of $167.25(tax included).

I guess I better fix my signature and countdown clock.

I called Sunday. I called 407-WDISNEY and was connected to Disney Travel.She would not let me book the code past the 26th.Then I remembered that if you are staying 3 or less nights your call is routed to CRO,so I called back and instead of punching in 8 nights I put in 3 and was routed to CRO. I then booked December 20-28th with no problem.I then called back to cancel the first ressie for the 19th-26th. So I booked 2 rooms at AllStar Sports December 20-28 for 109 a night for both rooms. Not bad for Christmas!

AP rate for first week in December at AKL, CL was $275.00 tax inclusive.

I called last night to put my deposit down on our DC room only reservation and thought I would try one last time for AP rates. I was in shock to find that my dates were available- October 4-9. I then tried my following dates of October 9-14 at CBR and no luck. I am still very excited about the rate at POR, $552 for 5 nights. I told the CM that I loved her, she thought I was hilarious.
So, if you're still looking for October rooms, keep trying.

Persistance pays off! I was able to change my deluxe pool view room at AKL to a deluxe savannah view room today! Now all I need to do is add the word concierge to the reservation!

Keep trying everyone, people who book more than 1 resort, or people who change their dates are starting to cancel reservations!

Since I wasn't able to change my Oct ressie to an AP/FL resident rate, I decided to book an additional Nov trip to take advantage of an excellent rate at WL where I wanted to stay in the first place.
I gave up my AAA rate of $240/night at WL in Oct for a AAA (both std view) at POR for $136/night. In Nov, I got CY view at WL for $156/night!

Hey, two trips that bookend the F&WF, I'm happy! And I still may try to get that POR down to an AP rate yet!

I'm SOOO Happy!!!
We tried to get GF the 1st morning the AP's came out. We missed out, I believe mainly because of how long it took for the CM to enter my family history before he could check on availability, but that's another story. We booked Poly lagoon view instead. I have called everyday since and finally got what we wanted today. This time I called the 800 number for the DIS club instead of the regular LD # for WDWT. Although, it took 58 minutes because the CM's computer kept stalling, we got GF GV for $221 for 6 nights! SO EXCITED!!

So if you still haven't got what you wanted, keep trying - it might still be possible! Good luck

originally had aaa rate at wl, tried to get ap rate for nov30-dec08 but none available so switched to akl. i love akl but dd and i were really looking forward to staying at wl this trip. 2nd call wl still not available, but decided to try one last time...and got wl courtyard for 154.00 night tax included. yipee we're back at wl

We got 49.00 nightly at allstar for the first weekend in dec and then again on the 18th &19th. Thought it was pretty good. Disney here we come.
