AP Rates - the suspense is killing me!

I called CRO this morning at 7:00 a.m. to (hopefully) apply AP rates to my 3/5/- 3/7 CSR ressie only to be told that they are having system problems this morning!!! They hope to have it up and running within the hour. Guess I'll have to hold on just a little bit longer.

When I called back to see if the system was up, I was told that they now expect to be out all morning. Evidently, they have a virus that is affecting their CA and NY sites. I see that the on-line reservation system at disney.com is also out. They must have been hit really hard!

I tried through CRO at about 7:15 and basically got the same response. They told me computer systems were down and it would probably be at least a couple of hours before they were up again.

Just called again like they told me too and the very cranky Cm said won't be up today at all due to the huge virus that is affecting wall st too...has anyone heard anything on tv about this???

I just read something on my work intranet site about it. It's called the Slammer virus and it slows down networking and the internet. They talked about it on the news this weekend. It says that with this virus you should expect slow responses. Anyway, I guess Disney must have it now. Hope this calms the nerves of a lot of people like myself. waiting on those codes!!!!

they were having problems yesterday when i called so i suspected things would go down today

I checked at 12:15 and the system is still down. A very nice CM took my reseravation and contact information for a call back when the system is restored.
