I am out of town and do not have my ap with me. Can someone please tell me the black out dates for the new codes? It is frustrating that I cannot log in.

huh? I just booked AP discount 3-13 to 3-18, at POFQ. It saved me another $20-something off the AAA rate I had before!

Rate available most nights 2/15/07 - 2/16/07; 2/19/07 - 3/7/07 and 3/13/07 - 3/30/07 at Select Value Resorts. The number of rooms available at this rate is limited. Additional per-adult charges apply if more than two adults per room. Other room types are available at varying rates.
*Savings based on the non-discounted rate for the same room.

No group rates or other discounts apply. Advance reservations required. Passholder must present his or her valid adult Pass at check in. Offer will also be made available to certain non-Passholders in other select promotions.

YAY!! I was lucky this time! I had to go during my spring break. I get to pay less for a room by paying more for my ticket (with the fond wish that I get to use it again, because this particular quick-trip is NOT going to make me break even).

I graduate from nursing school in May. The loans will start coming due (ouch) but we desperately want to get in a family trip this summer before I begin a new career. Guilt-gift for the kids, lol.

Hmmm... looks like part of my stay (with the AP rate) is during the blackout dates...

They actually had to book it as 2 seperate ressies since they can only book 10 nights at a time so on paper it says, 2/28 - 3/6 and 3/6 - 3/11.

Petchie - Thanks so much! Right after I saw your post (and RangerPooh's post about the $198 rate at FW cabins), I got on the phone and booked my ressie myself. Because we needed 15 nights, I was really worried about not getting the AP rate for as long as we needed. I really appreciate your post! Now... I better send a friendly little note advising the TA not to bother checking TOMORROW! I assume that would have been a nice little commission for her too!

I am so excited. We are going for a quick stay Mar. 18-20 after a cheerleading competition in Jacksonville. Some friends who have APs are also going and she just got us both rooms, AK for me at $218 (her dd is staying with us) and CR (MK view) for herself at $354.

We have never stayed at AK and I can't wait.

She tried to get me WL but they didn't have anything left at that rate so we'll take AK. We usually stay value since it's just dd and myself, we are actually planning a 10 day stay at Pop in June when I'm on break. I know what you mean about a guilt trip that's what that one is going to be. Dd is having a hard time dealing with me being in school and how much time it takes away. Plus I figured we better go while I have the money before I get done and the loan payments start.

Anyway, you can have your friend try every now and again, and maybe something will open up at WL. Otherwise, AKL is pretty neat. I think if I had taken the time to actually tour around, it would have been more enjoyable. And your rate is a good one! Try to get to the storyteller one evening, around the firepit.

Yeah, strangely enough. Because they are not supposed to "switch" them unless there are AP rates available AT THAT RESORT, for those dates. I think perhaps I just got really lucky, and my 5 nights were some of the few available. Mine is a popular travel week, but I called in pretty early in the am.

Yes, if it is available. Your rate for your stay is based on the rate you check in with.

My MIL called yesterday since we're booked 3/31 for a week & would gladly book 3/30 to get the entire week at AP rate{and go down a day early of course }. The CM informed her that the entire stay must fall within the discount dates, not just the first day. So according to this CM, if your stay begins on 3/30, only that day gets the AP rate. The rest of the week does not. Bummer.

That is SO NOT true!!! The Nov-Dec AP rates went through 12/23. We checked in on 12/23 and got the great AP rate for our ENTIRE stay!!! Call back and get a CM who will give y'all the *correct* answer!

That's what I was afraid of. Or should I say hoping for. I'll have to let my MIL know & try to get the "correct" info, aka the answer we want to hear.

My entire trip are the nights 3/8-3/12 and I still got the discount on Pop preferred.

I just called and changed my room only reserv. to reflect the AP discount. My one night at the POP dropped from $133 to $88 and the five nights at the Poly dropped from $2700 to $1800. I just saved $900 !! OK, only $700 if you count the price difference to upgrade to an AP. BUT still, it's money saved. I'm sooooo excited. Only 72 days to go !!
