AP rates in November

Time to start planning my November trip.

This is the first time that I do not have an AP. I will get AP's for the family for the trip since we will be going again in March. However, since I don't have one now, I can't check the AP rates at the hotels.

Is there a way to do this by calling? Although I know that online rates can be better.

Or can someone check for me? I am looking at November 16-20. Thanks!

Hello, fellow Disneyland/Christmas trip fan!!

I would gladly check the rates for you, but you should know that any "good" rates that might come out will not be posted in the AP section right now. They won't appear for a while. In fact, the AP rates have not been great lately - nowhere near what they used to be, where you could get rooms for less than $200 per night. You literally have to stalk the AP hotel calendar every day and watch for some good rates to suddenly pop up out of nowhere, and they are usually snapped up quickly.

These are the prices AFTER tax, as you can see, they are pretty high.

DLH- $1684.80
GCH- $2045.16
PPH- $1287.00

Just for comparison, I have booked PPH, concierge, theme-park view for Nov 9-13 (4 nights). I was told the AAA/CAA discount and AP discount were the same at 10%, and after tax my charge is $1675.44.

GL, OP! and it would be great if any AP holders want to holler if they see a great Nov rate in Sept or Oct as we get closer.

I'm looking at the AP calendar for November and for standard rooms for the DLH they don't show any rates for the nights of the 16th and 17th.

There also aren't standard room AP rates for Nov. 5 - 7 at the DLH. I'm not really sure what that means since those dates are slow season?

There are rates for those dates for rooms with views. I am assuming the calendar isn't working properly? I can't believe they are sold out for those dates.

I hope there is a really good discount coming. We are planning on the 4th through 9th.

That is weird because I've been checking pretty regularly recently and I get the same thing as I mentioned in my post.

Okay, I am checking right now and now it's showing Nov. 5, 7, 13, and 16 & 17 unavailable for standard rates at the DLH. (2:04pm).

A few minutes later I am checking for our dates and room category and after I put in our Nov. dates it's throwing out an offer for Sept. instead of Nov. I've tried it three times now. This is why I call them direct. Good grief.

I got the same $1684.80 after tax figure as the earlier poster when I just asked for the quote right now, at 2:14pm. That means that it is an average daily rate of $360 (before taxes), which is what the AP rate is on subsequent dates.
