AP rates for Thanksgiving?

Does any AP holder remember if Thanksgiving week is usually blacked out for a room discount?

Last year was the first time I had an AP. The discount rate ran the week before Thanksgiving, ending the Sunday before the holiday. It was a 35% discount. Waiting/hoping for a discount like that for this fall.

When does that blackout period usually end? Is it the weekend after thanksgiving, or not til the following week?

Right now I have riverside booked for 9 nights and the total is 2200. Last year for 9 nights I got it for 1565. I know the second half of the trip last year I did not get a discount. It is still a great savings. I'm also watching and hoping.
