AP Rates Available for Preferred Rooms

Does anyone know if, when AP Rates are offered, if they are for Standard Rooms only...or can you also get a Preferred Room?

You can get them for whatever level is available when you call. Sometimes I call and only preferred rooms are left to book, sometimes only standard rooms. Whatever rooms they need to fill will be the rooms offered.
