I'm so happy for everyone who is benefiting from the AP rates. It gives me hope they will release them for my travel in November. I was worried after the FT package came out. I thought we would not see any AP rates. I too am very thankful to be wrong Goodluck to all in their persuit of great AP rates

We are booked at BWI from 8/16-8/30. Standard room.
Before AP $273.90 w/tax. Now $227.43 w/tax. That's a $650.00 savings. Whew, now maybe I won't drive my family crazy (well maybe).
Thanks to all for the updates.

CM said they weren't out when I called, so asked her to check again, 'cause word was out on the boards. She said word travels faster here than at work with her.

I don't even think the CM I first spoke with bothered to check. She just said AP rates were only out for dates up to July 3. I am so glad I don't have to worry about this anymore. I got exactly what I wanted. Now I can start stressing about getting on the airplane.

I LOVE AP rates!!! We had CBR booked at DC discount for $122 per night, and we moved up to WL for $114 per night!!!! YIPPEE!!!!!

I came home from an afternoon out, checked the computer and saw this post, I was so excited but I was also really worried. I'd never booked through DU before and my mind was racing, what if Cathy doesn't know they're out, what if I don't get the rate....panic was setting in........... but then poof an email arrived...

It was from Cathy saying that she already changed my reservation!!!!! I went and looked and she saved us just short of 1000.00!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it!!!!! I felt so silly for ever doubting it would happen.

Have a wonderful trip!! Are you flying or driving. Unless better airfare shows up this year we are going to drive. Yuck! Last year we got wonderful airfare, this year we just cannot justify flying, the rates are high. We'll see, maybe we will get lucky on that too. By the way we live by York.

We do have our airline tickets, going United for $217.00 RT. Think thats pretty good rate. Got the rental car reserved, so all we needed was a good AP rate, got that. Today is DH B-day, that was a good present.
Where are you staying? I'll be thinking of you in July. Have a GREAT time and a safe trip.

2 standard view rooms at WL for 4 nights (7/18 - 7/22) for $1,017 total!! My DC reservation was $1,508. I've never "made" $491 so quickly! Thanks to everyone for posting about the AP rates being out. The first CM I spoke to said they were only out through 7/3. I told her some friends (that's what you all are!!) had just booked rooms using the new AP rates, so she dug a little further and found them. What a great day!!!

I called as soon as I read about Ap's coming out. The first time I called the CM didn't even offer to check and just said the rates were only released up to July 3 and to keep checking. I called back and got a really nice CM who offerred to check and seemed a little surprised to see that they had been released. Oh, I am so glad this is over.

We are staying at POR. We love that resort. Maybe we were spoiled, but we got airline tickets for $144 last year. Where are you staying? HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your DH!!

Woooo hoooooo. Just saved my IL's 34.00 for two nights at the All Stars. Doesnt sound like much but it was sweet of them to offer to stay onsite to watch our kids the night of our vow renewal. They were so happy that their rate went from 94.25 AAA rate to 77.50 AP rate!!!!

Thank you so much for posting that they were out on the boards. I called today and she checked and said they were Pending Until Further Notice. Guess further notice came out about an hour after I called LOL!!

Got Port Orleans-Riverside for July 19-26 for $656 (with tax) which breaks down to $93.66 a night. We had a room at ASMovies booked with the AAA discount for $94, so we saved a couple of cents and got moved up to a moderate resort. Yippee. The wait is finally over. Now, hopefully they don't move us!

BTW, I checked ASMo for our dates and was quoted $541. So, those who want POR, it was still available as of 7:15 pm EST.

With AP rate paying total $1034!!!!!

Saved almost $500!!!

I must have called 10 times today.......a nice CM told me last night to "CALL TOMORROW!!!!!"" Very firmly!! Imagine, she was right on the money!!!!



PS special thanks to my DIS friend Lisa3 for sending me an e-mail....I was just about to close my computer for the day and she alerted me that the rates were out! I never ran so fast to a phone!!!LOL!!!!
