AP rates are here!!!

Well, I did book my July 4th trip. At the SWAN. I am sorry, but the $139 rate offered on this board was just so much better than the YC/BC at $215. I wanted to be able to walk to Epcot and while the Swan is farther away it is walkable. Yep, there is a little less magic, but $76 in savings a night goes a long way.

Saved 201 dollars more for my trip to Coronado Springs May 17-23rd. I really didn't think AP rates would be out. Thanks to everyone who posted!!! That's more spending money now!!:)

OKW 1 Bedroom - $301 incl tax for May 9, 10. I already have it for $322 with a DVC discount. For $42 total for 2 nights I decided to stay with the DVC discount because there's no deposit plus I am guaranteed not to move when my reservation changes to points for May 11 to 16, it will all be 1 reservation. Plus I don't have to have my AP in advance.

Just chiming in here; I applied the AP code to my previous CBR reservation for 5/16 and a king bed room is now a little over $99 a day tax included.

Just thought I would share also, I did not 'save' any money. But, I did improve our view at the WL to a woods view for $139.00 night using the new AP code.

Thanks Disney!

Happy to just be going on vacation with my family!

Did not save a dime either. Currently have CR for 166.00 night including tax using code AFK. O'well it is still a great rate for monorail.

Everybody have a great trip.

I saved another $400 on our 8 night stay at Polynesian GV concierge from 6/13-21/03. Rate is $328.93 (tax inclusive) per night.

I tried to get the $124 rate for AKL standard on 6/12/03--no luck--sold out. I don't feel too bad since my present rate with public code for that hotel is $130.40 p/n.

The reservationist I spoke with indicated she hadn't had too many calls this afternoon--YET! She did say it was "about time". . .she said "we've been asking and asking when. . .". She thought the savings were pretty good--the per night rate at Polynesian is the same as I paid last year for the same time period--I'm now ecstatic!

Happy Hunting--

Just curious when the rates came out today. I just called this morning and asked about the AP rates and was told at 10:30 that they were not out yet, so I made ressies for ASMu for 2 rms for 2 ngts. using the Disney Visa code. I guess that I will call back now!

The AP rate for the Poly is the same as my postcard rate so I left it as is. Six more days to go!!

Hey Cassie,

I think my MIL would have a stroke if I told her I was going to use the savings to upgrade to concierge at the Poly. I think I'll leave it Lagoon view and do concierge at the Poly on another trip.

I'm so looking forward to AKL concierge.

FOr May 3-6 AKL was sold out!!!! For May 6-9 Poly saved $150.00 for $666.00 total. Scared of that total though!

Since it is sold out, does that mean its going to be swamped.

If we had checked in on Sunday, we could have gotten the discount... :(

gosh I hope my DREAMS agent checks these out - I've mailed her just in case - keeping my fingers crossed for the yacht club in May.

Thanks for this post OP! We got on the phone immediately and got good news and bad news. The bad news is that the AKL lodge is sold out for our dates (not sold out totally, just no availability for the AP rate) but we did get the discount applied to our All Star stay. We saved about $50USD ($75CAD) which is still good in my books. Thank you!!

Not sure what all the excitment is really. There are still no AP rates or any other special rates part this 7/3 date!!!Last year we booked our end of July rates at the end of January. These AP rates are no more thatn a re-hash of discounts rates already out there. I think that Disney is really yanking the chain of those who travel past this magical 7/3 dates we keep seeing crop up.

Yippie!

I saved another $15 per night on my AKL Standard View! I sure wish the AKL Savanah View was a reasonable price, but it's still over $200 per night :(.

Here is the negative post I have been waiting for. Actually there are some Disney Visa codes past 7/3.

Well, I just saved $700 over the current rates that are out. So that to me is a lot of excitement.

Those of us going in May and June were worried we wouldn't have any AP rates at all, so we are all very excited. Most people were betting there would be no AP rates for us. That they would start 7/3. So I'm very glad for all of us.

Unfortunately you'll have to wait a little longer. And read all the threads about the possibility of not having any codes for your time of travel. It's just a waiting game.

Help! I'm new to the boards and I don't understand what "AP rates" are! Called CRO, and of course, she didn't offer information. Can someone help me know what this is and how to "word it" when I call the CRO? Thanks!

Well, we are leaving 4/30 and we waited until 8 days before our departure date to get AP rates...so I guess you will have to wait too. ;) I'm pleased as punch to save another $351.00 off what our current code rate was.

As it's been said many times on this board, Disney is a business. The worlds state of affairs has been in termoil, so we can't expect Disney to be any different.

AP rates are for Annual Passholders. When you call say "I want to check availability for annual pass rates". You have to buy the annual pass before you check-in. If you go to the parks 8 or more days in a year, it's usually cheaper to buy an annual pass rather than park hoppers.
