AP Rate Question

We are DVC members and have a trip coming up in a couple of weeks. We check into OKW on Sunday 1/25 but have decided to drive down on Saturday 1/24. I reserved a room last night for DH and myself on Sat night at POFQ using an AP discount (DH and I have AP's). My sister and mom just changed their flight to arrive on Sat afternoon as well....so my question is, can I reserve a room for them with an AP discount? Neither one of them have an AP but we will be paying for their room?

Nope. One room per one AP. You would have to put you on one res and your husband on the other

IF both you and your husband have AP passes, why don't each of you reserve one room for each pass. If you have passes or dining involved, it gets messy. But if it's rooms only, you then have two rooms at the AP rate. You need to make sure that the number of adults doesn't exceed 2 if possible.

We do this when the grandparents come with us. We just distribute the kids and the adults between the two rooms on the reservation and when we arrive, my mom can pay for her own room beyond the first nights charge by listing her own cc on the room she is in (remember, deposit of 1 night I pay when we reserve).

Actually that is what I did. I reserved one room in DH's name and one in mine since we both have passes. It is just for one night room only and there are a total of 4 of us between the 2 rooms so we will regroup after check in.
