I am in the process of down-grading our Christmas trip. So I called Disney trying to figure out the best rate. I was quoted Pop Century for seven nights for $768. I also pulled it up on the passholder website for the same price. The problem is, it shows a different rate for each night ($59, 79, 79, 79, 129, 129, 129)

Now, if I pull it up on the regular site, it shows $82 for each night for a total of $645.

How can that be?? So the AP rate would have COST me $123.00!!!

I posted the same thing a little bit ago. We booked the $82/night. Hopefully, WDW will honor it.

A month or so ago I booked POP for eight nights Dec 8th-16th for $738.00 rack rate. Two days ago I got worried when I heard how limited the Chase Visa discounts were, so called and canceled my rack rate room and booked using the Visa code. Pop wasn't available so I had to move to AS Sports and got the room plus a $75.62 one day MYW park ticket for $515.47 ($75.62+439.85=$515.47). I don't need or want the $75.62 ticket so called yesterday to get a quote using the AP code. The AP code gave me a rate of $533.36 for just the room, whereas the room portion of the Visa discount was just $439.85. Since when is an AP discount less than a Visa discount?:confused3 No, thanks, I'll just pay less and still get to keep a one day MYW ticket to use later, plus I'll now be eligible to buy the DDP, if I so choose. AP discounts suck this year!
