Can anyone help with my four related AP room rate questions

1 - How far in advance do AP rates come out. Eg - when do i start looking for Oct 2012. I see an AP rate coming up for this October, but not for the same dates in 2012?

2 - Is it best just to secure a normal rate for Oct 2012, and then cancel if an AP rate comes out. If I cancel, will I get my deposit back?

3 - the rate coming up doesn't say I need a specific kind of pass, but a friend said they will reject you or charge you full rack rate if you turn up with just a power pass. I have asked hotel for an answer on this, as it does not state anything about what kind of pass is elegible on the Hard Rock Hotel (or Leows) website.

4 - can I book two rooms with the AP, one for me and kids, one for my parents

Advance thanks

About 3-4 months out.

Yes, book now. Then when the AP rates are released just call up and they will change it for you. No need to refund the deposit and apply another.

The only passes that offer a hotel discount are, the preferred and premiere AP's.

Not 100% sure, but I think you can.
Advance thanks
