We are going to Disney in Sept and am considering going to Universal for a day. We are planning to do a bigger trip next Summer so I was thinking get a pass in Sept. and then we will be good for next summer, either June or August. I looked on the website and saw there is a monthly payment plan for some of the passes, is there one for the cheapest AP? Will there be any issues Im missing doing this?

The Seasonal Pass can not be paid with the monthly FlexPay the other 3 AP's Power, Preferred and Premier can pay with FlexPay. I believe you have to put down half the money that the passes you pick cost then can FlexPay the balance over 11 months.

Florida residents can elect flexpay with the seasonal pass, I believe. But not non-residents. Just be aware that the seasonal pass has blockout dates and blocks access to universal studios on various concert dates (they can, however, go to Islands of Adventure on those concert dates).

A few years ago we had the seasonal AP. [You cant get the seasonal AP in a pay by the month option].

Now we have the one you pay per month and if you plan to go more than once in a year it rally is a great option.
