AP Questions

Hi All,

Couple questions about APs. My wife and I currently have the gold, and are considering renewing and upgrading to the Platinum Plus. If our current APs expire in Jan and we renew in Nov or Dec, is the "start date" of the new AP once the current AP "runs out," or is it the date of renewal? I'm guessing it's the former--otherwise, what would be the benefit of renewing prior to expiration?

Second question is if we buy APs for our kiddos through Member Services, and we load the voucher number to MDE to reserve Fastpasses for our Jan trip, will the "start date" of the kids' APs be the date of purchase or the date they are first used (January)?

Add 1 to the year your pass is to expire and that's your new expiration date if you renew.

You need to stop at either a Park Ticket Window or Guest Relations Location to activate those passes. The expiration date will be 1 year from the activation date.

Thanks, Michael! That was what I was thinking, but given the cost of APs, didn't want to chance being wrong.
