AP Questions

Hello-

Couple quick AP questions. We are upgrading to AP when we go in Feb. There are 4 of us (2 Adults, 2 kids). We have our Feb trip and plan to go back next November.

1) Where can we upgrade to AP tickets? Our first day is planned to be in AK, can we do that there?

2) Will upgrading interfere at all with our current FP or magic bands?

3) We'll be getting TIW for our November trip and are traveling with my in-laws. If we always pay on one food bill and we pay, can we include them for the discount?

Any park ticket window or guest relations location. If getting TiW card at same time, you will need to go to a guest relations location (ticket windows don't sell TiW card).

No.

TiW discount is valid for up to 10 guests on one check. Person named on TiW card is supposed to pay for meal.

FYI, because you mentioned kids.... There are no kid prices for AP. They are all the same price.

Oh I don't know why I put kids in there, I did know it's one flat rate (bummer) but thanks for making sure!

One more question, if we upgrade on our first park day at ak will we get our new magic bands right away? I usually decorate our bands but won't waste my time if we will get our ap ones right away.

When we upgraded to AP we had to go online to do the customization (having our name printed on the underside and band color - red, orange, yellow, green blue, pink, gray) and it would mail it to our home address (we weren't staying on-property that visit, but I can imagine if they can customize Magic Bands in Tomorrowland now, I don't see why you shouldn't be able to get yours on your trip).

Since we wouldn't be getting our AP bands until we returned home, we just bought our own bands in the park and decked them out with Magic Band accessories. We've had one additional trip since then (we linked our AP to the bands we had bought that day) and our AP bands are still in the shipping box (we grew attached to our accessorized bands, sure we could take the accessories off and put them on the AP bands, but you know how nostalgia and attachment is and all).

Nope. You have to come home and order them.
