A couple of quick AP questions I hope ya'll can help clarify:

If I upgrade just my ticket to AP, can I pay the dinner tab for our entire party using my 10% discount? Or does each person who orders need their own AP to get a price break on their meal?

If I upgrade my 5-day parkhopper on my last day at the park to AP, does my new AP calendar start from the day I first used my parkhopper or from the day I paid for the upgrade (which would be the last day of my parkhopper)?

Thanks! Only 12 more days for us...yippie!

They don't look at APs at the rest of your party. I paid for BB and used the discount, and they didn't ask to see DH's, DS's, or my non-AP brother's... There might be limits on the number in your party, but I don't *know* that...

Your year starts from the first day of your admission media (ooh, professional phrase!), so from the first day you used your hopper that you're upgrading.

Oh, and unless you have an EE reason to wait to upgrade, do it as soon as possible, so you can USE those discounts!!!

Oh, VERY important point. Bummer about the start date being FIRST day of PH tix. Just the info I needed though...thank you so much!!!

The EE and APs is confusing me... We upgraded to APs on a Friday and did EE on a Saturday. We were staying onsite, but they never asked to see our room keys. What is the deal with this??? :confused3

Since you were staying onsite, you got the EE privilege through that. They wouldn't have asked to see your keys, but there's a small white slip of paper that they *should have* asked for... the same slip you used if you charged anything to your room account.

Staying onsite gives you EE every day it is offered during your stay. If you're offsite, though, 3 day and longer parkhoppers (except, I hear, the lower-cost military hoppers and those that people bought through the Gay Days website) have ONE EE day on them. Those bought through getawaytoday dot com have TWO days of EE. But if you're onsite, none of that matters (subject to change at the whims of DLR, of course).

So now that I know if I stay offsite for our trip in the end of May, I won't get EE. Any chance of AP rates being offered in the end of May or early June? We would love to stay at the GCH again, but cannot afford the $300/night (at least) for a standard during that time.
