AP question

If I have an AP, do I need to make a park reservation at MK for the day that we have tickets to the Christmas party? I think I know the answer but want to be certain. Thank you!

If you are only going for the Christmas party, then no, you don't need reservation. If you are going to spend the day at MK plus the Christmas party, then, yes you need a reservation.

AP's don't always require a reservation for the parks, it really just depends on the day and the crowd levels. I make them when I plan just to be sure to get one. But on our last trip several of the days had been updated to say that we did not need the reservation and wouldn't let us adjust them (so we were able to just show up wherever).

Also, if you are doing virtual queue in the morning they want you to have a reservation, not sure if it still works if its a non reservation day.

On our recent mid-September trip there were several days we didn’t need park reservations as AP holders. You can check the online calendar.
