Hi,

is it recent that only Florida residents are able to buy the annual pass or has it always been that way on their website?

As recently as 08 I bought an annual pass but I did always do it at the park, maybe they dont seem to care when your there?

Anyway, I am going in October and the special they have right now really isnt all that special :rotfl:

I was trying to piece it together to save some $$$ but things arent looking good at least according to the website

I think recently they changed it so FL residents are slightly cheaper.

There is the non FL resident and I believe you can purchase it there.

Anyone can purchase an AP not just FL residents...that's nothing new. I don't think you'll be seeing any specials this year with Harry Potter opening soon...they won't need to discount anything for quite a while. The Preferred AP for non-FL residents is only $229.99 + tax so that's not a bad deal and if you're coming down in October and want to go to HHN, Preferred and Premier passholders are offered great discounts on tickets.

I am considering this myself once I make the move down that way. I have never been to both Universal or Islands of Adventure. Should I check it all out first or go ahead and get a pass? I mean, three visits and it's pretty much paid for, right?

I would go ahead and get an AP if you're going to move here especially for the discounts and free parking that comes with either the Premier or Preferred AP.

Thank you very much, I thought I clicked everywhere on their website and didnt come across that. Hmmm I used to pay the other price, I guess if your at the gate they didn't ask a lot of questions. Seeing that new price I guess it does make sense for me to just get my tickets on a daily basis.

What I hate about their current special is the rack rate at Hard Rock. Don't they know DISers dont pay rack rates?!?! :rotfl:

Thank you, that definitely answered my question

There are no kid prices for an AP??? Who has the best AP prices?? Does AAA have good prices for AP??? I tried the website but when I put in NY & my zip it tells me its invalid. I can't buy an AP on Universal's website??
