Can I still use a child's AP to book an AP room only discount or do I have to have an adult AP? I know you could do this in the past, but I thought I read somewhere that you couldn't do this anymore. Any help on this would be appreciated.

No, you have to have an adult AP for room booking purposes. You also can book only one room per AP....used to be able to book up to three. Disney closed those loopholes a few years ago.

Thanks for the info Diane, I thought that was the case. I bought a child's one a few years ago and never activated it or used it because of free dining packages that came out during the time we were going. One more question what can I do with it now. Can I trade it in towards other tickets or put it towards the room? Thanks, Jeff
