AP question

our trip is in december and i am wondering when is a good time to purchase our AP? we want to do it before we arrive because we may want the dining card. i am wondering if the AP vouchers received by mail expire. the disneyland AP voucher i received a couple of years ago through the mail expired 60 days after my purchase date. does disneyworld do the same?

You can do it at any time, and they voucher will not expire and doesn't go into effect until you turn it in for the real pass. Allow at least a month to get your DDE card. The best timing is to order your DDE card about the middle of the month previous to the month you want to travel, or about 6 weeks ahead. If you are traveling in December, you would want to order your DDE card in November. You must have the AP voucher in hand to order the DDE card, because you need the numbers off the pass.
