AP question

The last time we had AP's was back in 2000, (hush, I heard that collective gasp) and we were able to buy them ahead of time at the store and they did not activate until our first day in the park. Approx a year ago someone told me this procedure has changed, though I am sure someone else has already asked this can someone fill me in on how to purchase these now? we are planning on going in August 2007

We purchased our in Oct of 05 . Then activated it in June of 06 with no problem.

They have increased 2 times since then and I'm not sure of any rule changes as of now.
