DD (5) and I will be moving to California this summer. :cool1: I was wondering what were the AP options for the DLR. What have you found to be the most cost effective of the choices? We will be about 1/2 hour away (non rush hour).

Thanks so much for your input!

DL have 4 levels of APs. There are S CA Select--cheapest, with most of the year blocked out, S CA-- a bit more expensive with Saturdays, summer, and major holiday periods blocked out, Deluxe--more expensive, fewer blockout days--just some Saturdays during the summer and holidays, and Premium--365 days of admission and parking is included. You can add parking to the others--I think it's $40. Premiums have the most perks. While all APs have food discounts, the premium gets 15% as opposed to 10% for the rest and only premiums get merchendise discounts--10% on a $10 or more purchase.

i assume your child would be in kinder...(or starting first grade soon), w/the 2 cheapest ap (so cal ones), most, if not all, of the school holidays are blocked out, so you wouldn't be able to go when she's off from school. unless of course, you take her out of school.

and a tip...if you're getting parking, put it on your child's ap!! cuz you'd most likely take your child w/you, when you do go. and if someone else (auntie, uncle, family friend, whoever!) wanted to spend time w/her, and take her to disneyland, she'll have her pass, and they won't have to pay for parking!! a friend of mine told me this! :flower:

I personally would not go lower then the deluxe due to the # of days blocked with the SoCal passes.
