So, we didn't renew our passes, and are no longer eligible for the one that includes Sunday. We are going to stay the night Saturday and Sunday night, going into the parks Sunday and Monday. Can I still get my pass on Sunday, go that day, and start my year from then? What is the best way to get our passes? Can I get them Saturday night or have to wait until Sunday morning? I'm staying at the resort, is there a special ticket office there?

Thanks!

If you walk away from the ticket booth on Saturday with your AP in hand, your AP year will start Saturday and Sunday's blockout will apply. You could always buy a ticket and then upgrade later on a Sunday or before you leave Saturday. With an e-ticket you could go directly to the ticket booth or exchange it at your hotel because you're staying onsite. With an AP you would have to buy it at a ticket booth, unless you buy an e-ticket online for that, but not sure how that would work activating it on a blockout day at the turnstile. I'm pretty sure you'd have to do that at a ticket booth.

It depends on your budget. If you can pay most of it up front, then go buy a park-hopper ticket that costs less than the AP you want. Use it with zero blockout days. Then on the last day, simply upgrade to a AP. If you buy a hopper pass for more than 1 day through AAA you get free parking on those days.
If you plan on paying for parking, remember that you can only apply the day's parking fee to a AP add-on if you buy that same day.

Based on your schedule, I would buy your pass Sunday morning at the park (try the East booths for shorter lines). You get a blockout ticket for Sunday and the pass should be good for Monday. It would be good for a full year plus a day technically because the expiration date is the same date you bought +1year!

K, thanks! Sounds like best option is to buy it Sunday morning at East side of booths.
