AP purchase @ MCO for check-in @ resort

Hi there, i'm just wondering if anybody has puchased AP's at the airport to avoid being asked to show a valid AP at check-in but just have a voucher. Here's my situation, I plan on buying AP's for the whole party because we are planning to be there for 15 days. I already ordered 1 AP so that I can get the DDE. Don't feel the need to order the other 3 right now because we still have to spend the time redeeming the AP's later, may as well just purchase/redeem at the same time.
If you have purchased at mco, how long did it take?and is it easy to find the shops from the gates?
Am I getting too worried about nothing?
Just don't want to start the vacation off by pay extra $$$ for 15 nights.

it is SO easy - I did it last month. Walking from your gate, you will take the shuttle to the main hub - baggage claim, shops etc... Disney's Earsport is right there - huge store, can't miss it. I walked right in and poof within 5min I had my AP in hand ready to go. It may take a few minutes more since they will have to type in 3 separate ones (have your ID's ready for adult AP's) but it is still the easiest way to go.

We had a towncar company waiting for us at baggage claim and the luggage was just starting to come out. It was well worth it to do it this way!!!

Are you guys saying the sell and redeem VALID APs(not just vouchers) at that Earsport?

Why bother making the extra stop at the MCO EArport shop? You have an AP voucher that you need to activate and they cannot do it at the airport. So you will have to go to a park ticket booth or a Guest Relations location anyway. Why not just buy your additional AP's then? No need to make two stops to accomplish what one will do. The resort will not give you a problem. The absolute worst case scenario is that they will ask you to return within 24 hours to show the front desk the activated AP. It's not a big problem to check in with just the voucher, honest.

Anewman: yes, you get activated AP's when you purchase at the airport. They do not exchange pre-purchased AP vouchers, however. YOu must go to a park ticket booth or Guest Relations for that.

We didn't even need to show our vouchers at AKL. The CM helping us said that it showed on the computer that we had purchased our AP vouchers. He said this was sufficient.
