I ordered a Deluxe Annual Pass last month and just read on the back that it must be used before May 25, 2004. Our trip is not until June!! I had no idea there would be a first use date. Is this right? How was I supposed to know? Help!
Have you tried calling the place that you ordered from?
Do you have a Disney Store near you? And do you have the receipt or credit card invoice showing when you paid?
First, I would call the place where I ordered the tickets. Then,if you don't get an answer, I would advise that you call the Disney Store and ask them. If they don't have an answer, they will be able to provide you with a toll-free number for Disneyland Guest Relations.
There is usually a 3 month window for them- I dont't know how you fall into that window- What disney sometimes does is use the voucher and you can apply the payment already paid to the new one-
There is a rumor floatin around that the AP prices will be raising in the next few weeks-
Thanks for your responses. I called the # that came with the receipt (DL guest services). I bought the ticket through the Disneyland website. THey told me that it was the date Disney WANTS the ticket used by and to exchange it at guest services when I do get there. She wasn't very convincing that it would work out.
I will be really mad if I have to pay the difference with the price increase. If I had ordered the ticket today I would be within the " 3 month window" and would be fine, but because I ordered last month I am at risk. It is not right. Lastly, I can find nowhere where Disney states there is a window for first use. It is not on the site where I bought it. There is no warning. UGHH!
I would not be surprise if you have to pay any difference in cost between what you paid and what the "new" cost of an annual pass is when you "cash it is in."
