Has Disney changed the way they are releasing AP discounts? It used to be a 3 digit code. Now I am receiving passholder emails with a pin number. The discounts are basically the same prices and dates as the general public discounts which have a 3 digit code. Doesn't make any sense. The AP rates I received are through the end of year, but they omit most of the summer. What's up with that?

I'm an AP-holder, but I've never received an AP email/pin code even though I'm registered on the AP site. Just curious, is Christmas to New Years blacked-out?

I'd be interested to hear if other AP-holders have received emails like yours or is this new this year?

Yes. As ervery year Christmas week is blacked out. The dates in the AP email are:

For stays most nights:
2/27–3/5, 5/8–5/27, 5/31–6/4, 8/21–10/8, 10/23–10/29, 11/13–11/19, 11/27–12/3 and 12/11–12/24/11.

There's another thread about AP PINs; yes, other people have gotten them. Of course, I haven't and I'm not happy about it!
