Is the preffered AP pass still a paper pass? I just wondering if they changed back like the Premier Pass that is plastic with photo. The reason why is my preffered pass is starting to get faded and was going to guest service is a few weeks to have them print a new one, but would be better is it was plastic.

I still have one of the old plastic cards for my preferred,it's definitely showing it's age.I don't know if I prefer to have the paper of the plastic as it's so much easier over at Disney to replace your pass with the paper.Part of me prefers to have the nice plastic one with your picture on it,but part of me prefers the simplicity of the paper, also I remember when Universal had the free express passes my plastic one would have issues to get it to work.

I keep my "old" plastic w/pic on it along with the current paper AP in the card holder. When I enter the parking area, if the attendent asks for photo ID (some do, some don't), I give them that as opposed to digging out my DL :thumbsup2

I have a question about AP passes, specifically Florida Resident passes that are good until Dec 31, 2009. If you purchase one of these are they renewable? When you renew is it good for a year?

Thanks! :goodvibes

When you renew, it's good for a year from the renewal date...whatever that may be. I don't know if these special passes are renewable but if you can afford it, I would just purchase one Preferred AP that will get you free parking and the discounts right away especially if you're going to be going a lot...that $12.00 parking fee adds up pretty quickly. ;)

I'm figuring out what is the best for the kids, I am definitely doing at least one Premier, if not two for both DH and I. Free HHN ticket, Citywalk, and free valet, can't beat that! :thumbsup2

** Just called and these passes are not renewable, they are season passes not an AP.
