Hi All.

I have read in anothe thread that if you get a AP you can get one free for an under 7. How does this work, as when you book the hotel you get the park tickets included, so why do you need a AP. I have booked for 18/06/07 for 5 days, and will be going in feb 08 too. So i am now thinking that this might be cheaper doing it this way.

conventional wisdom is 3 days or more in a year buy an AP.

You could stay offsite, or book onsite via phone using an AP rate. HOWEVER you must have the AP in hand to book an AP rate, so your first stay it won't apply.

My first stay was one night; I bought my AP that day and used it for subsequent stays.

since you are going during a busier time, it may be risky, but you could book one night room only onsite, and 4 offsite. Then when you buy the AP, book the 4 nights onsite, and cancel the offsite reservation.

Also, they may give you a 48 hour grace period to call back with the AP number.

For room only rates, see www.expedia.co.uk and www.exepedia.de. AP rates range from 10-30% off those rates, based on season and subject to availability.

I have already booked my stay in June this year. I will be going back ther in Feb 08. So from what I understand of what you are telling me, it is not worth me getting it untill Feb 08. Asuming i will then go back ther by Feb 09.

at this point, unfortunately it may not be worth it until you have a return trip planned. Then plan to sponsor someone and get an extension! ;)
