AP onsite / blockout day Q?

We are staying at the Santa Fe in January and while DS and I have Dream APs my friends is a Fantasy AP and our 1st day is a blockout. Does she have to buy a one day hopper ticket or is there an exclusion because we are onsite? Thanks in advance

if she is staying onsite, no, she doesn't need a one-day park ticket, her Fantasy AP and her hotel ID easypass will get her access to the parks even on a blackout date .

That means she can come with us in three weeks time too as theres bargain ryanair flights for €50 return. She just bought her AP and was worried if she made it permanent this month that she'd have to shell out for a one day ticket in January. Oooh so excited now
